Tuna asked for a composition book to keep as a journal for future writing ideas. Words can not describe how impressed I am with this development. He is becoming a little writer and is actively seeking ways to become a better writer. I am so proud of him.

I drank an entire Starbucks tall toffee mocha today. I haven't had coffee in years. I must find a way to drink it though. It seems to be the tie that binds.

I had new boots delivered yesterday. They were so cute. They didn't fit. I am returning them today. I am sad. The company is completely sold out. I need to find different boots. :(

Pete got a promotion yesterday. AND, more importantly, a raise.

Contemplating a trip to Seattle to see my dear friend Tracey. I hope we can make it work. I hope my husband is willing to let that be my Christmas present. I miss her and want to see her. She fills my soul and I could use a refill before classes start in January.
